WoodSight makes hidden crop stress visible before symptoms appear in the field. We engineer sentinel plants so that molecular markers associated with disease, drought, or other pressures activate specific promoters and trigger bioluminescence. Because the system is self-sustained, these early signals can be captured by cameras and interpreted by software and AI to deliver real-time alerts in the app, enabling growers to pinpoint risk sooner and act with greater precision.

Founded in 2018, Woodlight is developing WoodSight from its patented bioluminescent plant technology. By turning physiological stress signals into visible information before field symptoms emerge, the platform lays the foundation for a new generation of agronomic monitoring tools. With a fully operational laboratory, autonomous bioluminescent plants already proven functional, and initial varieties in preparation, Woodlight is now entering its next development phase and seeking its first pilot partnership from 2027.
